Creating an Ambassador program to give Citizen Wallet a voice outside of the core team. From a marketing strategy perspective, ambassador programs have worked well in Web3. Where ambassador programs differ from referral programs is in the focus. Referral programs, generally are monetarily incentivized. Ambassador programs have a different motivation and are more value aligned. Essentially it is creating an army of citizens who have a firm belief that the emphasis of the designed elements will be successful through time given enough usability. Ambassadors then become the leading edge of awareness and exposure campaigns for growth.
The original proposal was the high level narrative, contention for, and rationale for building a native ambassador program. Here could be the finer details. Ultimately it is up to the core team to define the full parameters, as I am just a citizen bringing this to the decision makers. If this was my program, here is how I would design it and implement: 1. Identify community members who are as passionate about the product or program as I am. 2. Empower them with brand assets, brand kits, and any additional assets with the intention to positively promote 3. Allow them to be the voice and carry the mission forward 4. Look for co-marketing opportunities including but not limited to, posting on SM platforms, social audio spaces, etc. These can be static or dynamic. I would include specific parameters like images, videos, tutorials, SFM (Short form media), long form, blogs, articles, etc. 5. Empower the ambassadors to be in a position to grow the community. 6. Create feedback loops of what is working well, what is not working or resonating, what can be created to be more beneficial. (Web2 version is Start, Stop, Continue) In terms of incentives or bounties related to this program I have found that monetary related incentives set the expectation of monetary gains, which is not necessarily aligned with the project vision, unless it is part of the vision. Rewarding people based on participation I feel is one of the biggest opportunities of Web3. But it could be with non-financial rewards that they place value on in terms of fair trade exchange. We have had various iterations of reward mechanisms with KFMEDIA℠. Through experimentation we have found people at the end of the day appreciate recognition more than anything else, as long as they are mission aligned. I am an ambassador to several platforms, programs, and communities not because they paid me to be, but rather because I fell in love with their solutioning, mission, vision, or execution as much as the founders did.
